Our Client is one of the largest Metal Pressing firms in the Region, they are looking for enthusiastic experienced Power Press Operators to join their team.

Job title: Power Press Setter
Location: West Bromwich Birmingham
Salary: 10.50 PH
Hours: Rotating shift Wk1 06:00-15:00 Mon to Thurs 06:00-11:00 Fri
Wk2 09:00-18:00 Mon to Thurs 09:00-13:00 Fri
Basis: Temp - Perm

Job Duties
* Setting up Manual and Coil Fed presses.
* Working on Power presses up to 350 tonne.
* Loading/Unloading
* Completing Job Cards
* Keeping Work Area Safe & Tidy

Character
* Good Written and Verbal English
* Good Eye for Detail
* Previous Factory Experience Desired
* Hardworking & Reliable
* Happy to work in Loud, Oily environment.
* Happy to complete repetitive work.

Our client are looking for someone with the below key skills:

• Previous knowledge within the logistics sector
• Experience with planning local and distance multidrop for a mixed fleet of LGVs
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• A good understanding of driver hours and WTD
• Must be able to multi task
• Must have good IT skills and the ability to use MICROSOFT EXCEL and WORD. A knowledge of STIRLING planning software very beneficial
• Understanding of drivers EDC devices
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Must be organised, self-motivated and driven
• Experience in optimising resources efficiently
• great communication skills to be able to liaise closely with all relevant departments and drivers AND ensure any issues are managed proactively
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Must be flexible, hard working and enjoy a challenge
