As an Intake Quality Controller, you will be relied on to inspect products on arrival to ensure they comply with our specifications and liaise with colleagues in relevant departments to convey your findings. You will also be relied on to ensure that food safety and legislation is adhered to at all times.
The successful candidate will be a confident team player with good communication and inter-personal skills. They must be assertive and be capable of prioritizing multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Attention to detail and accuracy are key. They must also be prepared to work in the chillers and operate Manual Handing Equipment.
The hours you would work:
A variable shift pattern equating to 80 hours per 2-week period, including some weekend working.

We're looking for someone to join our Intake Quality Control team as soon as possible. Our new colleague must have excellent attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy even when working under pressure.
Main Purpose of the role
To ensure that all audit procedures are carried out effectively.
To check the sharps box contents are correct and sign out all required sharps for the day.
To calibrate refractometers on a daily basis.
To collate information from emails for audit requests then prepare audits.
To collect fruit to be audited and scan off all audit boxes.
To collate all audit result paperwork and send to appropriate receivers i.e. Product Managers.
To organize and oversee Junior Auditors.
To retest any returns and process the relevant paperwork.
To set and maintain cleanliness of working apparatus.
To calibrate citrus machines and log information on a weekly basis.
To perform citrus glass check on a weekly basis.
To ensure collection bins are washed on a weekly basis.
To calibrate FTA machines and process paperwork once a month.
To deputies for my colleagues and immediate Team Leader in areas where I have been trained
and considered competent, in their absence.
Any other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business.
The candidate must be prepared to work in a chilled environment.
Good inter-personal, communication, liaison and IT skills are essential and knowledge of health &
safety is also desirable.
The candidate must be a competent team player, able to brief colleagues and prioritise multiple tasks.
The disposition of the candidate will be personable, assertive, reliable and confident.
They will also need to be flexible in relation to the role and hours worked, in-line with the organisation
goals and objectives. Therefore the ability to work reasonable additional hours as necessary will be

in a comparable role.
