Warehouse Manager
35,000 - 40,000

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for controlling and monitoring all inventory management within the supply chain operation; they will take the lead with intake, pick, despatch & stock control, ensuring the warehouse operation runs smoothly and efficiently, identifying efficiency and cost saving initiatives and managing KPI's effectively.
They will take the lead for all H&S matters relating to inbound and outbound activities.
They will manage the inbound, pick and dispatch teams working with a highly complex range of Sku's and raw materials for production & Customers
Support the supply Chain Coordinators, procurement and operations team in terms of stock management, product quality and technical requirements.
Provide support to the Supply Chain Manager in delivering all aspects of the Warehousing and despatch operations.
Actively support the Supply Chain Manager & operations in the management of material waste and variances.
Suggest and discuss modifications to improve operational performance, increase efficiencies and reduce costs whilst maintaining required standards.
Support the supplier performance and compliance monitoring to ensure that all suppliers remain fit-for-purpose.
Deliver consistent performance without determent to Health & Safety or quality requirements
Work collaboratively with the Technical and Quality Department to ensure all traceability and technical specifications are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Contribute to the achievement of individual and collective agreed KPIs and implementation of business strategy, aims and objectives.
From time to time, you may be requested to complete other duties beyond those outlined above to support the needs of the business.
As part of this role, you will also be required to cover Saturdays.

Desirable Skills

A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background with exposure to Warehousing.
Proven track record in identifying change and driving improvements.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be results driven and commercially minded.
Able to work well under pressure & demonstrate the commitment, enthusiasm & flexibility expected within this role.
Critical thinking skills, being able to analyse datasets and establish conclusions that allow the right decisions to be made.
Demonstrate excellent leadership & team building skills, developing productive working relationships.
Ability to deliver consistent performance without determent to Health & Safety or quality requirements.
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with previous experience of warehouse management systems being advantageous.
